Camping and Caravans:

Contact the Venus Bay Caravan Park . Ph. (08) 86255073 Fax (08) 86255121. At last count they had 60 powered sites, On-site caravans, On-site cabins, and 2 amenities blocks

Boat Hire:

Contact the Venus Bay Caravan Park . Ph. (08) 86255073 Fax (08) 86255121. They have 4 metre fiberglass boats with 15 hp motors. Boat Licence Required.

Food:

General Store and Caravan Park have a selection of groceries, meat and smallgoods. The GS is licenced and you can purchase liquor during till 6pm, 7days. We often shop at Streaky Bay if we require a larger selection.(60KMS WEST OF VB).

Bait:

You can use cockles, squid , pilchards and other bait in the Venus Bay area. It is available locally from the Caravan Park or General Store.

Fish Cleaning :

Be sure to throw back any undersize fish, shellfish etc as the inspector visits Venus Bay regularly. You can clean your fish at the cleaning bay near the boat ramp.

Eating Out:

The General Store and Caravan Park in Venus Bay and the Pub at Pt Kenny all have good food.

Rubbish:

Rubbish can be dumped at a council trailer which is located on the way out of town on left hand side near the town water tanks. It is important that all rubbish is disposed off here at the end of your stay. Please place rubbish in bags. Empty cans and soft drink containers can be placed in the recycling bathtub behind the general store. Proceeds go to the local charity.
